Soft Issues
2014Soft Issues are tactile, non-figurative soft sculptures to be interacted with. Resembling plush toys, the works awaken the innate ability humans have to use the imagination. The corporeal shapes and colours can elicit both desired and repressed thoughts, where what may be amusing for some, may for others be uncomfortable and disturbing. The sculptures were presented in THE WEARABLE ARTSHOW, curated by Kreuzberg Pavillon at KNIPSU. Bergen, Norway, August 2014.
